Break Free: Borderlands®4 Now Available Worldwide

2K and Gearbox Software announced today that Borderlands® 4, the ultimate looter-shooter and the next iteration in the franchise that defined the genre, is now available worldwide on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Borderlands 4 on Nintendo Switch™ 2 will be available on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Across the vast planet of Kairos and its seamlessly connected zones, players will face the tyrannical Timekeeper. For thousands of years, he has kept the planet hidden, controlling its citizens with cybernetic implants called Bolts and an army of synthetic soldiers known as The Order.

Players will travel across the planet, encountering new and returning characters, creatures, and inhabitants to battle, along with unique factions spread across four distinct regions, all seeking freedom from tyranny. Friends discovered along the adventure will rally to the players’ cause, while enemies will learn firsthand the arsenal of weapons and abilities at the Vault Hunters’ disposal.

Borderlands 4 will be available in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe.
